BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Hangzhou Aichi Engineering Vehicles Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japanese Joint Venture, specialized in the manufacture of aerial work platforms, and was formerly called Hangzhou Gardening Machinery Factory. This plant has manufactured hydraulic aerial work platforms since 1970s, and the products were listed “100 Top Customer Satisfied Products” by China Quality Association Customers Committee. The company was established in April 1995, invested by Hangzhou Gardening Machinery Factory and Aichi Corporation, Japan---- the biggest company producing aerial work platform in Japan.
In the early establishment of Joint venture company, the total investment was 4.7 million dollars (40% share for Chinese Party and 60% share for Japanese party), and the duration of joint venture was 30 years. In December 1998, both parties added 4.8 million dollars according to the corresponding proportion, which made the total capital up to 9.5 million dollars, the registered capital was 7.1 million dollars, and the duration of joint venture increased to 50 years. After the capital increased, the headquarters of company was moved at Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Area.
The company has staff more than 300 people, among whom 90 are professionals in various fields. The company covers an area of 53,000 square meters, among which construction area occupies 20,000 square meters. More than 600 units of aerial work platforms with over 300 million RMB yuan are manufactured and sold annually. After joint venture company established, there are about 5000 units of aerial work platforms had been sold, the market occupation rate is up to 45%.
The company has introduced the advanced technology and imported the qualified components from Japan, assembled and manufactured series of aerial work platforms as follows: 1) self-propelled: 22.5m, 26.5m and 31.7m working height; 2) articulated insulated: 14m working height with 10KV working voltage (Model: SC125); 3) telescopic insulated: 16.8m working height with 35KV working voltage (Model: SN145, SN15B) and 18.3m working height with 35KV working voltage (Model: SH17A); 4) articulated + telescopic insulated: 26m working height with 110KV working voltage; 5) the company has also imported advanced aerial platform with 35m working height from Germany, which can be controlled remotely by the computer. 6) Other products have 9~21m kinds of articulated aerial work platforms, 7.8~28.9m telescopic aerial work platforms and 8m vertical aerial work platform. Hangzhou Aichi also owns various Invention Patents and Utility Model Patents.
Our products are widely applied in the fields of utility illumination, electricity, traffic signals, expressway, shipbuilding and repair, communication, construction, gardening, advertising, airport, harbor, cable TV, large enterprise and etc.. The products are sold at every province and city all over the country except Macao and Taiwan, and have been exported to Russia, Cuba and North Korea in batches, and to Philippines, Australia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Mongolia etc., which got good comments from the customers. In order to meet the market demand, we developed emergency power vehicle, engineering service vehicle, digger derrick, hydraulic liquid-spraying vehicle and etc., these products are applied to more fields in Water, Gas, Oil and Urban Green Management Department.
The company was awarded as “Advanced Unit for Honoring Contracts and Keeping Promises” by Zhejiang Industry and Commerce Bureau and was evaluated as “AAA” Credit status continuously, and designated as Hangzhou hi-technology enterprise and Information-based enterprise. In 2007, “Aichi” brand was awarded as Famous Brand of Zhejiang Province, and its product was evaluated as Famous Product of Hangzhou City.
In order to guarantee the product’s quality, the company purchased Plasma cutting machine, CNC cutting machine, N.C. shearing machine, N.C. folding machine, painting equipment, blasting equipment, assembly production line, boom welding machine, line automatic welding machine, boom alignment machine and other large-size equipment; there are some advanced test equipment of voltage-resistant and insulated tools, inspection equipment of hydraulic part, fatigue test machine and stress test instrument, 3D measuring instrument, sound level meter, digital weighbridge and test equipment for hydraulic oil cleaning; We established the first specialized production line of aerial work platform in China, and introduced high quality key parts from Japan so that products’ quality, performance and market competition has been improved greatly.
The company passed the ISO9001 Quality Certificate in 1998 and obtained CCC Certificate in 2003. In 2007 the company acquired ISO10012 Certificate of Metrology System and AAA Certificate of Good Standardizing Practice. The establishment of quality system has laid a solid foundation for Hangzhou Aichi to take possession of both domestic and overseas market step by step. We were awarded the titles of “Quality Satisfaction product”, “Quality Satisfaction Enterprise” and “Customers Satisfaction Enterprise” by China Quality Association.
Hangzhou Aichi attaches great importance to after-sales service, which has set Service Section, Repair team, Overhaul shop and Repair Branch for providing spare parts and engaging in the customers’ training for free. Moreover, the company has established after-sales service in the following cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Zhejiang Hangzhou and Zhoushan, Guangdong Dongguan, Sichuan Chengdu, Shaanxi Xian, Henan Zhengzhou, Jiangsu Nanjing, Suzhou, Taizhou and Jingjiang, Liaoning Shenyang, Xinjiang Urumqi, Shandong Jinan and Qingdao, Guizhou Guiyang, Jiangxi Nanchang, Hubei Wuhan, Yunnan Kunming, Guangxi Liuzhou etc., to provide service to the customers.
